Paramanand University was founded by his Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Yugpurush Swami Shri Paramanand Giriji Maharaj. Its purpose is to provide an international learning center with teachings in twelve fields that are made available to people all over the world. There fields are:

Both the residential campus and Parmanand University are located in the holy City of Devi Ahilya, the city of Indore, state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated in the vicinity of Mahakaleshwar on the banks of the sacred Kshipra River and Omkareshwar on the banks of the serene Narmada River.

Parmanand University provides an eloquent atmosphere conducive to the evolution of right knowledge. Situated in India where holy, spiritual Masters reside, students will be touched by a grace that is the impetus to the realization of Truth, Pure Consciousness and Bliss. This location also provides the unique opportunity for realized saints of the East and eminent scholars of the West to share their viewpoints and evolve a curriculum that unites spiritual and technical sciences as one integrated science. 

Paramanand University operates as a non-profit organization. Donations and student enrollment fees raise the operational funds. Additional monies over and above operating costs will be used to support the Swami Paramanand medical and educational centers that serve the poor and needy through rural India. Financial Aid is also available for poor and needy students.
