Dr. Swami Gurusharanananda(Ph.D - Philosophy) -

Swami Gurusharanananda is a perfect synthysis of academia and asceticism. Holding a MA in Philosophy and a PHD in Upanishadic Study, he also lives the simple and austere life of an ashram Sannyasi in Mata Anandamayi Ashram, Omkareshwar. Here he serves as Principal of the ashram school, which provides education for the local village tribal children. An adept in Yogasanas, in younger years he received many awards at nationwide competitions where he was sent as a delegate. He is also a skilled Vedic Astologer and talented musician. He has great experience in different areas of natural healing and is an adept at acupressure and other methods. He uses all his many talents in the service of his ashram and Guru and lives a life of total dedication.
